1. Charitable contribution intent
Charitable gifts made through the VoF250 donation page are received by The Bridge Life Music Career Advancement, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting the Voices of Freedom 250 mission. Unless the nonprofit expressly accepts a legally binding restriction in writing, designations communicate donor preference and the organization retains reasonable discretion to use funds in furtherance of the stated charitable mission.
2. Charitable gifts vs. sponsorships
Charitable gifts made through the donation page are contributions to The Bridge Life Music Career Advancement, Inc. and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for those gifts. Corporate sponsorships, ticket purchases, vendor registrations and other commercial transactions may include goods, services or promotional benefits and are not represented as charitable gifts merely because they support the VoF250 mission. Consult a qualified tax advisor regarding your circumstances.
3. Honor Pass sponsorship
A $50 Honor Pass sponsorship funds one unit of eligible participant access in the Houston sponsorship pool as described on the sponsorship page. The sponsor does not receive a transferable veteran credential or coupon. A sponsored participant uses the separate eligibility and claim process. Funding a pass does not entitle the sponsor to the recipient’s identity or personal information.
4. Negotiated sponsorships
Corporate, brand, institutional and custom sponsorships may include recognition, activation rights, tickets, space, hospitality, media, category rights, content, programming or other benefits. Those benefits and any exclusivity, production costs, deadlines, cancellation rights and payment schedule must be documented in the applicable proposal or sponsorship agreement. The secure checkout is only the payment mechanism.
5. Recognition + anonymity
Where public recognition is offered, VoF250 may publish the donor/sponsor name, organization and approved recognition level. A donor may ask not to be publicly recognized. VoF250 may still retain and use transaction/contact information for processing, legal records, fraud prevention, customer service and private stewardship.
6. Donor lists + privacy
VoF250 does not sell or rent donor lists. Information may be shared with service providers that process payments, deliver receipts/communications, host systems, support events, maintain records or perform other necessary services. The Privacy Policy explains these practices in more detail.
7. Receipts + acknowledgments
Stripe may send a payment receipt, and VoF250 may send a branded confirmation. For charitable gifts, donor records should identify The Bridge Life Music Career Advancement, Inc. as the recipient and state that no goods or services were provided in exchange for the contribution. Donors should retain the organization's acknowledgment and consult a qualified tax advisor for tax-reporting questions.
8. Refunds
Contributions and Honor Pass sponsorships are generally final once processed, subject to the Refund/Cancellation Policy, applicable law and review of duplicate, mistaken or unauthorized transactions. Negotiated sponsorship refunds are governed by the applicable written sponsorship agreement.
9. Compliance + availability
VoF250 may decline, return or restrict a contribution or sponsorship when reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, sanctions, payment-risk, reputational, mission-alignment or operational reasons. Acceptance of a payment does not require VoF250 to accept unrelated conditions that were not expressly agreed in writing.
