FOR THOSE WHO SERVED

YOUR DAY · YOUR WAY

You choose how you experience the day.

Spend the day listening. Connect with resources or employers. Record a story if you are selected and choose to participate. Stay for Voices Alive! Or simply come to be honored.

There is no required path through Voices of Freedom 250. Start with what matters to you.

HONOR PASS

No veteran should have to pay to be honored.

A $50 sponsorship covers one veteran’s full-day Voices of Freedom 250 Houston experience at no cost to them.

REQUEST AN HONOR PASS

Raise your hand now.
We’ll work to fund the seat.

HONOR PASS REQUESTS RECEIVED

Our national goal is to sponsor 250,000 veterans to experience Voices of Freedom 250 at no cost to them. Requesting an Honor Pass places you in the sponsorship queue. We’ll notify you when funding is matched and your veteran verification can move forward.

FOR VETERANS

Honor Passes are reserved for veterans. Retirees and former National Guard or Reserve members who have completed their service qualify as veterans.

VETERAN STATUS VERIFICATION

Before an Honor Pass is issued, you’ll verify veteran status with a DD-214/DD-215, VA/VHIC identification, retired military ID, state veteran designation, NGB-22, or equivalent official documentation.

PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

Redact Social Security numbers and anything not needed to establish veteran status. Do not upload or send medical records or other unnecessary sensitive information.

Your information is used to administer the Honor Pass program and is not shown to sponsors. Sponsors fund the queue; they do not browse or select individual veterans.

YOUR VOICE · YOUR CHOICE

Share a story only if you want to.

Inside the SongKey Recording Studios, selected veterans can turn stories they choose to share into Voice Artifacts. Participation is voluntary. You decide what you want to say and whether this part of the experience is right for you.

CONNECTION THAT GOES SOMEWHERE

Find the right person — not just another booth.

Veterans Village and Mission Forward are built to help turn information into an actual next step.

VETERANS VILLAGE

Profile → Concierge → Connection → Warm Handoff

A Concierge helps guide you toward organizations relevant to the interests and needs you choose to identify, then connects you directly with the receiving organization.

MISSION FORWARD

What comes next matters, too.

Meet employers, education and training organizations, and opportunity partners focused on what comes after service.
